I am truly grateful, but recently I received an inquiry from INVISTA, the company that makes CORDURA®!

(CORDURA® is a registered trademark of INVISTA, a company that produces fabrics with excellent strength and durability. )

When I read the beginning of the email, I thought I would be scolded.

In fact, in the past I have received quite a few complaints from a company selling materials, and had to delete a few blog posts.

It was a huge shock to me as it is a material I am very fond of, but I opened the email nervously, wondering if CORDURA® would say the same thing to me.

The shocking content is...

I won't show the contents as is, but to put it simply,

• Thank you for using CORDURA® fabric!
• We would like to feature it on the official CORDURA® Japan Instagram account .
• I have a variety of other fabrics so please use those too. Can I send you a sample book?
• If you like, I can even send you the logo data, so you can use it on the web, etc. But please respect the trademark.

I was so happy!!

It's a bit old though

I thought, "It's here!" lol

Maybe it's true that some gods are throwing things away and some gods are picking things up, but I was shocked at how happy it made me to have what I do recognized in this way!

Hmm... wait a minute. Sounds too good to be true?

After exchanging emails twice, I started to think that this was too good to be true?
I was worried that I would be asked to pay a huge amount of money out of nowhere. So I called.

A person in charge responded and told me that posting it on Instagram, using the sample book, and using the logo were all free of charge (but please respect the trademark), which made me feel very reassured.

CORDURA® also said they would like to make the material more widely available in society.
Of course it is, because the fabric is so good!
