The crowdfunding campaign offered three different ways to purchase.

① [Basic black] Simple is best black leather tote bag ② Custom color to choose from 5 colors ③ Full custom order made in consultation with a craftsman

The person who ordered the third purchasing method this time , "full order made in consultation with a craftsman," was Mr. T, who lives in the Kanto region!

We have been working closely with Mr. T on the production, holding meetings over Zoom and trying out samples.

Mr. T said, "This is the first time I've made such an expensive purchase without seeing the actual product!" We'd like to introduce a special custom-made bag that was created by combining the technical skills of Kawanishi Bags with the bag!

What did you order as part of the "fully custom-made order in consultation with a craftsman"?

The "full order made in consultation with a craftsman" option allows you to choose the color of the bag body and handles , fully customize the inner pocket , and choose the color of the plate .

Mr. T, who placed the order, regularly uses a backpack as his business bag.

However, as I got older and began to take on more responsibilities, I began to look for a "real business tote."

Mr. T uses YouTube to gather information, and learned about the GEN business leather tote bag from a product review video on the "Kawanisi Kaban Holiday" show.

How was T-sama's custom-made bag made?

① Color of the body and handle

The first bag that caught Mr. T's eye was a bag with green handles and a yellow front body that was being displayed as a sample at Makuake .

There are five places where you can choose the color by artisan order.

①Handle (front)
②Handle (rear)
③Front body ④Rear body ⑤Bottom

"I want to maintain a formal atmosphere while still keeping it fun."

Based on this request, we decided to finish the rear fuselage in yellow.

When held facing forward, it is a formal black tote, but when turned inside out to reveal the yellow, it becomes a cool bag that is luxurious yet playful.

②Complete customization of the inner pocket

There aren't many opportunities to order an inner pocket just the way you like it.

So we sent Mr. T a sample of GEN to help him imagine what type of pockets would suit him best, and had him try it on for about a week or two, after which he decided how to use it, the desired pocket position, and the number of pockets.

Here are some impressions from those who actually used it:

"Maybe what I ordered was a mistake..."

because,

"It was so easy to use, I could have left it as it was!"

That's it!

It's great to receive positive feedback from people who have actually used the product.

Then, it was decided to make further fine adjustments and use the same yellow for the leather color of the pocket opening as the main body, which was decided upon as an original detail for Mr. T.

We left it up to the craftsmen to decide which color to use for which pocket, so we decided to finish the zipper pocket and the pocket openings on the front body in yellow.

3. Choose your plate color

The last thing to choose is the color of the metal nameplate.

You can choose from "black" which blends in well with dark colors, or "gold" which adds a touch of glamour.

Mr. T chose the chic "black" color to match the black front body.

Thus, Kawanishi Kaban's first online order , " GEN - fully custom-made in consultation with artisans," is now complete!
