Saif is a large-capacity tote bag that can be transformed into three different shapes with a snap, and can be used for a two-day trip, for work, as a mother's bag, or as a gym or lesson bag.


The handles of the large tote bag are longer than the previous model, making it easier to carry over the shoulder.


The curved design of the opening gives this canvas tote a soft impression, even though it has a strong presence.

Not only is it beautiful, but its shape has been designed to fit the body when carried on the shoulder, making it a bag that is gentle on the user.

Transforms into three different forms

Saif was designed with the theme of "a mother's bag that dads can carry too," and is a large-capacity tote bag that can hold all your necessities.


By opening and closing the snaps on both sides and the front, you can change the shape to suit the occasion, making it suitable for a wide range of uses.

(1) Standard type

For the standard tote style, remove the snaps on both sides to use it as a large capacity bag.

Closing the snap in the center of the bag opening prevents items from falling out.


(2) Small type

By closing the snaps on both sides, it transforms into a slim square style.

You can change the shape to suit the situation, such as when you are going out nearby and have little luggage, or when you are out and about and have less luggage.

(3) Basket type

The saif bag has a generous 16cm gusset, but you can make the most of that size.

The style is basket type.

There is a snap underneath the hanging pocket inside the bag, and when you align it with the snap at the opening, the hanging pocket becomes a lid.

When the lid is closed, the bag's gusset stands up, allowing it to be used as a three-dimensional rectangular bag.


It can also be used to hide items falling out or the contents, which can be a concern when using a tote bag.


Shoulder handle with Setouchi leather accents

The 43cm handles are slightly longer than those of a normal tote bag, so that it can be carried naturally over the shoulder even when carrying heavy luggage.


We added Setouchi leather to the center of the handle, where the most pressure is applied. Not only does it accentuate the design, it also increases the strength and prevents dirt.


The more you use Setouchi leather, the darker its color will become and the more flavorful it will become. Please enjoy the unique aging process that only leather can provide.


An inner hanging pocket that doubles as a lid and an outer pocket

Exterior double-sided pockets

There is a pocket measuring 16cm in height and 16cm in width in the center of the exterior, where you can quickly store small items such as smartphones and keys.

Inside hanging pocket

There are two hanging pockets on the inside, measuring 15 cm in height and 18 cm in width, where you can store small items such as handkerchiefs and mobile batteries.

By combining the snap at the bottom with the snap at the opening, the hanging pocket can also be used as a bag lid.


Base plate to support stability

The bottom of the bag has a base plate wrapped in adult canvas of the same color as the bag.

The tote bag has a bottom plate which helps keep the bag stable in shape and makes the bag look beautiful when you hold it.

About the material

Main fabric | Adult canvas

At Kawanishi Kaban, we call canvas that is finer than regular canvas "Adult Canvas." It looks finer and more delicate than regular canvas, but it is also more durable and has been paraffin-treated to make it water-repellent.

The fabric is firm and dignified, so the bag stands upright even without a lining. Not having a lining also makes the bag lighter.

*Please note that the color may fade or transfer slightly if used in rainy weather, if it comes into contact with sweat or moisture, or if it rubs against clothing, etc.

使い勝手良し見た目良し

子どもとの海水浴＋旅行用に購入しました。初オリーブ。いい色です。めっちゃかっこいい✨そしてとにかく大容量！日焼け止め、虫除け、日傘、水筒、タオルなどなど何でも入る！ミコのように仕切りはありませんが、ジップロックやバックインバックなどで自分の使いやすいようにできるのも個人的には良い点です。本当に助かりました。一家に1つあると本当に便利なカバンです。
せっかくならと通勤にスモール型にして使ってみましたが、これまた良い！スモール型のシルエットが思いのほか可愛くて好きです。普段は赤&グレーアベベを通勤用にしていますが、ちょっと荷物が多いときはスモール型セイフを使っていこうと思います。

飽きないデザイン

リッチーLで想定外に裏切られカワニシカバンの虜になりました。
ちょうど７年ほど使った格安の旅行バッグが壊れて新調しようと思っていたところ、
これまたちょうど、セイフの商品ページを目にしてしまいました。
吸い込まれるように「カートに入れる」をクリックしていました。

届いたセイフですが、帆布トート特有の重厚さを残しつつも、３種類に変形できる柔らかさを備えており、気分によって形を変えられるところはとてもよいと思いました。
中の底板も「バリ」なく丁寧な仕事がされています。幼い子どもがいるので指を傷つけたりしなさそう（安全に使える）なところもポイントだと思います。

今後もYoutube動画を視聴しつつ様々な商品開発を楽しみにしています。
（子が大きくなったらセオエルンも…？）

大きくて使いやすい。でもグレーブが好き。

セイフ、グレージュを購入。
グレーブ(コーデュラ)より持ち手が長いので肩掛けしやすい。
サイズが大きく、荷物の多い私にはとてもいいサイズ感です。

目隠しになる吊りポケットはいいアイデアだと思います。
荷物が多いせいか、ホック外れてしまいます。
吊りポケットのホックをファスナーにしてもらえたら外れにくいかなと思います。

大きな横型トートバックなので、吊りポケット側にファスナーポケットがあれば安心だと思いました。
