"Sand leather" has a pattern that resembles natural wood grain, created by processing the leather surface to make it fluffy.


The slightly rough texture of the leather makes scratches less noticeable and gives it a tasteful look. You can also enjoy the changes in the leather over time, as the color deepens and a beautiful luster develops on the surface with each use.

This business card holder has a sturdy gusset and can hold a generous 40 cards.


The two pockets can be used to temporarily store business cards you receive, or to store business cards by type.

The pattern is slightly rough to the touch, which makes scratches less noticeable and gives the piece a tasteful appearance.

Sand leather is thoroughly soaked in oil before processing, so with each use the oil seeps out and transforms into beautiful, lustrous leather.

Threads selected to match the color of the leather

At Kawanishi Kaban, we use different stitching threads to match the various colors of leather.

Genuine leather has its own unique dye finish, so you need to choose thread that matches the color of the leather. Changing the thread every time is not an efficient way to go.

However, products made with threads that are perfectly suited to leather have a neat and elegant appearance.

トスカーノレッドは写真より深みがあります

先日、高松の店舗に初めてお邪魔した時に、トスカーノレッドの名刺入れを見ることが出来ました。スタッフの方から「どうぞ手に取って下さい」と声をかけて頂いたので恐る恐る手に取ったのですが、皮の手に馴染む感触や、開け閉めしても崩れないきれいなフォルム、2段の仕切りの活用方法の説明に納得し、気がついたら即決で購入しました。深みのあるカラーと皮の感じも丁度良く、店舗で見て決める事が出来てよかったです。息子のラッキーカラーがレッドだった事も決め手でした。息子は、社会人になったら長く使える物を購入しようと考えていたらしく、これから一緒に経年変化を楽しみたいと思っております。
