What is the mico series?

The Mico series is a collaboration tote bag with the popular YouTuber Mikopa, who writes product reviews. This highly functional tote bag is packed with the ideas of Mikopa, who is also a working woman, and the attention to detail of Kawanishi Kaban.

Divider pockets to keep your belongings organized

The biggest feature of the mico series is the divider pocket, which is located in the center of the bag and also serves as a divider inside the bag.

A common problem people face with tote bags is that things get lost inside the bag.

To solve these problems, we developed a bag with a pocket in the center that also serves as a divider, allowing you to neatly organize your belongings.

Although the S size is compact, you can use the dividers to store the contents, so it can hold enough luggage you need for going out.

The mico S size is recommended for those who want to move around easily.

A total of 6 pockets for easy organization

To help keep the inside of the bag organized, we have added one plastic bottle pocket, two types of hanging pockets, and a central divider pocket.

The central pocket opens wide for easy access, making it convenient for storing items you need to access frequently, such as your smartphone or wallet.

The hanging pockets can hold small items such as smartphones and keys. The openings of the pockets are finished with grosgrain tape for durability and design.

The PET bottle pocket was created with a female craftsman's perspective in mind, and is made from the same adult canvas as the main body, achieving a sense of unity, durability, and ease of inserting a PET bottle.

Handle designed with care to be long and gentle

The length is well-balanced when held in the hand or when attached to the shoulder part.

Aiming for local production and consumption, we use "Setouchi Leather," a 100% domestically produced product made from cows raised in the Seto Inland Sea region.

The corners of the handle, which you will touch repeatedly, have been carefully polished to give them a soft feel.

By attaching the optional "shoulder part" to the D-ring, you can use it as a shoulder bag.

The shoulder straps (D-ring + leather parts) are attached to the top left and right of the bag. The Setouchi leather, which is the same material as the handle leather, adds an accent and a luxurious feel to the bag.

By attaching the optional "shoulder part" to the D-ring, you can also use it as a shoulder bag.

Shoulder parts come in two widths

The acrylic tape is chosen in a color that blends well with the adult canvas, and a brand name plate made from Setouchi leather is sewn onto it.

The shoulder parts are available in two widths: "normal (25mm)" and "wide (38mm)".

A cover that hides your luggage and prevents it from falling out

One of the ideas that ★Mikopa★ was particular about in the mico series is the "lid."

While an open-top tote bag makes it easy to put things in and take them out, the contents of the bag can be seen.

The part that was thought up for this was the "cover lid."

The lid, made from the same adult canvas as the main body, can be easily removed with a snap, providing privacy and preventing items from falling out.

It is popular because the opening can be closed even when the luggage increases.

About the material

Main fabric | Adult canvas

At Kawanishi Kaban, we call canvas that is finer than regular canvas "Adult Canvas." It looks finer and more delicate than regular canvas, but it is also more durable and has been paraffin-treated to make it water-repellent.

The fabric is firm and dignified, so the bag stands upright even without a lining. Not having a lining also makes the bag lighter.

*Please note that the color may fade or transfer slightly if used in rainy weather, if it comes into contact with sweat or moisture, or if it rubs against clothing, etc.

*Alcohol on the product may cause discoloration or color transfer. Please avoid contact with alcohol.

abbと迷いましたがこちらが先に再販となったので売り切れる前にポチリました。
濃いそして鮮やかよりな私の好きな赤。
バッグではなかなか見かけない色なのでとても気に入ってます。
使いはじめて日が浅いのでつりポケットがちょっと固く感じますがそのうち入れやすくなるかなーと楽しみにしています。
思っていた以上に沢山入り大活躍間違いなしです。
またショルダーパーツ38mmも同時に購入しました。
ナスカン部分がちょっとごつく感じますが肩が痛くならず嬉しいです。

まだ数日しか使用してませんが上からみて携帯が鳴っていると直ぐにわかるし財布も取り出しやすいです。ただ出かけるときショルダーだと口が広がってしまい前後ボタンだと締まりづらいです。前後を布を延長して真中でボタンで閉めるとか紐で真中を縛るとかして口の開きを少なくできたらいいのにと思いました。
でも買って良かったと思いました。

使いやすいです

鮮やかな赤がとてもきれいなので、地味な服装の時にこそ使いたいカバンです。
通勤にも使っていますが、小さめで細長い形状のお弁当箱なら余裕で入ります。
ポケットが多いため整理しやすく、カバンの中で物が行方不明になりません。
長財布を真ん中のポケットに入れたかったのですが、財布がほんの少し大きいため入らず断念。こちらはスマホの定位置となりました。
色移りにはやや注意が必要かと思いますが、しっかりとした生地・縫製、そして軽いことがとてもありがたく、今まで使ったトートバッグの中で一番使いやすいです。
