高級レザーの産地、イタリアのトスカーノ州周辺で製造された革をトスカーノレザーとお呼びします。植物性のタンニンを使用し、製造された高品質のレザーです。

カワニシカバンのブランドカラー「レッド」の発色にこだわり、最後に見つけた革が「トスカーノ リスシオレザー」でした。

 カワニシカバンの製品で使用している「トスカーノ リスシオ レザー」は、イタリア中部、フィレンツェ近郊の町 サンタ・クローチェにあるタンナーで製作されました。

厳選されたヨーロッパ原皮のショルダー部分を用いて、じっくりと時間をかけてかけた鞣し加工の末にかなり扱われた革は、柔らかく耐久性があります。

希少な技術バケッタ製法

動物の「皮」を「革」に加工する「鞣し（なめし）」は、様々な製法がありますが、「トスカーノ リスシオ レザー」は、他の鞣し方法と比べてかなりの時間と労力がかかり、希少なバケッタ製法で製作しています。

バケッタ製法は、植物性タンニンをじっくり時間をかけて染み込ませながら鞣す、イタリアンレザーの伝統的な方法のひとつです。
